At Personal Best Exercise Therapy we are proud to be leaders in the evidence-based practice of kinesiology. Our kinesiologists apply the latest research to provide the highest quality of treatment. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or are looking to improve your fitness, we can safely and efficiently help you achieve your goals. Kinesiologists cover the spectrum of rehabilitative and wellness services from the active rehabilitation of an injury through to high-performance training. Many people will be referred to a kin after seeing a physiotherapist or chiropractor to begin active rehabilitation (exercise). This involves learning proper movement mechanics, fixing muscle imbalances and building an overall strong and healthy body. A kinesiologist will use an educated and evidence-based approach to build your fitness safely targeting long-term results. If you are looking to improve athletic performance or break through training plateaus a kin will apply advanced knowledge of biomechanics to take your training to the next level. **Please note : All new clients require an Initial Assessment with one of our Kinesiologists before completing an exercise therapy program at Personal Best.

After six rides, CAROL gets to know you and exactly how hard to push you.

We know that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to health and fitness. That’s why CAROL gets to know you, using your age, gender, height, weight, and performance data from on-board sensors to create your perfect workout.

Rides 1-3 – these are “ramp-up rides”, you will only have access to the main workout, and with sprints lasting just 10 seconds. This is important practice before exercising at maximum intensity.

Rides 4-6 – these are “calibration rides”, you will now have the choice between 10, 15 and 20 second sprints. CAROL’s algorithms will calculate the exact resistance you need to reach maximum intensity.

After ride 6 – you have now have full access to the workouts and features of the bike. As multiple metrics are measured on each ride, CAROL will constantly re-calculate the resistance to reflect changes to your fitness.
